Tours

For Hotel Pick-up

The passenger must be present at the meeting point within 20 minutes of the scheduled time. After this grace period, we will consider it a no-show, unless we are given prior notice. Most hotels in Chicago do not have loading zones at the entrance, and in many cases, the guide will not be able to find the passenger in the hotel lobby. For this reason, the guide will be waiting for passengers inside or in front of the car. The vehicle can be identified by our company’s logo displayed in the window of the car.

This service has a 100% penalty for cancellation after reservation. Date and time changes will not be allowed after confirmation of purchase. In extremely rare cases, we will change the type of vehicle or driver at the last minute, if the company determines some sort of potential risk, internal or external, for our passengers or in the case of an emergency.

Airport & Hotel Transfers

Each passenger is allowed 2 large suitcases and 1 carry-on bag. If you have excess luggage, we ask that you request a larger vehicle at the time of booking. If the passenger’s amount of luggage exceeds this limit, the driver may refuse to provide the service due to security measures and local laws.

For Airport to Hotel Transfer Pick-up

Our grace period is 1 hour for domestic flights and 2 hours for international flights. The grace period begins when the plane lands, not its scheduled land time, so that guests are not penalized for delayed flights. After this grace period, we will consider it a no-show, unless we are given prior notice. In the case of the passenger missing a connecting flight to Chicago, please contact our team to inform us of your new flight schedule.

For Hotel to Airport Transfer Pick-up

The grace period for arriving at the meeting point is within 15 minutes of the scheduled time. After this grace period, we will consider it a no-show, unless we are given prior notice. Most hotels in Chicago do not have loading zones at the entrance, and in many cases, the guide will not be able to find the passenger in the hotel lobby. For this reason, the guide will be waiting for passengers inside or in front of the car. The vehicle can be identified by our company’s logo displayed in the window of the car.

This transfer service has a 100% penalty for cancellation after reservation. Alterations to the reservation (i.e., pick-up times) will be considered case by case, depending on the availability of drivers.

Chicago Travel & Tours is not responsible for delays caused by traffic. In extremely rare cases, we will change the type of vehicle or driver at the last minute, if the company determines some sort of potential risk, internal or external, for our passengers or in the case of an emergency. In case of extreme weather conditions (such as a blizzard or severe storm), the service may be canceled or changed.

Shopping Outlet Transfers

The grace period for arriving at the meeting point is within 15 minutes of the scheduled time. After this grace period, we will consider it a no-show, unless we are given prior notice. The driver will pick you up in front of the Adidas store (premium outlet) or at the bus stop (fashion outlet).

This service has a 100% penalty for cancellation after reservation. Date and time changes will not be allowed after confirmation of purchase. In extremely rare cases, we can change the type of vehicle or driver at the last minute, if the company determines some sort of potential, internal or external, for our passengers.

Tickets

Architecture Boat Tour, Chicago River/Lake Michigan Boat Tour

The ticket value includes the boat trip exclusively; transportation to the boarding point and a Portuguese- or Spanish- speaking guide are not included.

This service has a 100% penalty for cancellation after reservation. Date and time changes will not be allowed after confirmation of purchase.

Reservations are not automatically confirmed. Upon receiving your request, a member of our team will purchase the ticket(s) and email them to you. In the case of no availability, your reservation will be cancelled and you will be refunded the full price.

CityPASS

Upon purchase, the customer has a maximum of 4 months from the date of purchase to use it. This ticket is non-transferrable, though it may be refunded after purchase. Transportation is not included in the price of the ticket.

You will first receive a voucher for the ticket, which must be exchanged at the first attraction visited. Submit the voucher you purchased in order to receive the CityPASS booklet. This booklet contains admission tickets to each participating attraction and includes detailed attraction information. Present your booklet at each attraction. See each ticket front for entry instructions. Admission tickets are good for one-time admission only. Tickets removed by attraction staff only; if the tickets are altered prior to entry, they will be invalidated. The booklet is valid 9 consecutive days, and the first use is considered day 1.

Breakfast at Skydeck

The ticket value includes the breakfast exclusively; transportation to the attraction is not included.

This service has a 100% penalty for cancellation after reservation. Date and time changes will not be allowed after confirmation of purchase.

In the case of no availability, your reservation will be cancelled and you will be refunded the full price. Values ​​and cruise times for Lake Michigan may change without prior notice.

These summer cruises run from Memorial Day weekend (May) to Labor Day weekend (September). Keep in mind that not all cruises have daily departures. The cruise may be cancelled at the last minute if the minimum number of sales required has not been met or if the boat has been chartered for a private party. In case of cancellation on behalf of the company, the amount paid will be fully refunded or the passenger may be offered a change in ticket for a different vessel or date. Chicago Travel & Tours is not responsible for damage or inconvenience caused by cancellation of the cruise.

The fireworks show is offered by the City of Chicago and Navy Pier. The cruise company and Chicago Travel & Tours are not responsible for a refund in the case of cancellation due to the fireworks display.

In case of a storm, the ship will be anchored at the pier, but the onboard services (shows and food) will be served normally. In this case, the customer will receive some sort of upgrade (possibly open bar), but a refund will not be possible. We are not responsible for any inconvenience caused by meteorological conditions.

These values ​​do not apply to holidays and special cruises.
